My good friend @713Punky asked me to put together a custom 104BPM Mix for @alangham to run to (apparently 104BPM is a key frequency for his pacing). I figured why the hell not, seeing as I love - no - have a fetish for big-beat and glitchy noises, which fits right into the 104BPM Category. I google around my tracks from time to time to see where they're appearing, but nothing beats this! Today I found that Youtube user Blondier66 made a fan video for my song 'Bollygraph Test.'

Supremely flattered I am!

But it was worth the GPA boost needed for some grad school apps :)

That said, I'm working solely on my Masters this semester, so I should have a bit more time for some extracurricular music! (Before it was classwork and then research as my extracurricular)

Anyways, onto the updates:

- Free track on the way sometime next week

- Was preparing to put out a single on Muti called "Defcon" (paying homage to my favorite time of the year!), but instead am spending another month or so putting together an EP! (I just may shoot for a full-length, we'll see). It will probably have "Caravan" on it as well.

- Will try to update the The State of Breaks and get the podcast feed running.

- Also thinking about putting out a general weekly "Great Scott" podcast. We shall see...

- Looking for a PR/Marketing Agent to work with, and yes, I will pay you. Drop me a line (see the Contact Page) if you are interested. The job entails the following: Writing press releases to send out to radio stations + magazines + DJs, along with promo tracks. So I'm looking for someone who is nice, personable (but not disingenuously so) and has good grammar/spelling. Basic industry knowledge is a plus, but not required.

In just a little over a year (since September 27th 2007) we've passed 5000 downloads of the New Young Pony Club Remix... you guys. Rule. :)

Hehe if only I were selling those even at a few cents/track :P

I'm kidding of course - you're all too awesome for that, and I plan on releasing a free track and/or bootleg remix with each full/for-sale release that I do :)

In other news, the release of "DefCon" on Muti has been pushed to November as Muti is still trying to determine who we want to remix it. I've sent out some promos of it and Bobby & Nihal on BBC Radio 1 (with also thanks to Meera @ BBC!)were super kind enough to drop it! :)

I'll be posting it on my MySpace soon so peoples can get a sneak-peak of it!
